Diane Wiessinger is a US author, researcher and breastfeeding advocate. She is known for the essay "Watch your language!", which argues that breastfeeding should be seen as the normal baseline rather than a superior choice. Among breastfeeding advocates, the word "Wiessingerize" means to describe breastfeeding as the standard against which other ways of feeding children are measured.
