Ryder Carroll was born in Vienna, Austria, and works as a digital product designer. He has kept journals since his teenage years, when he was struggling with an attention disorder, and over several decades he developed his note-taking habits into the Bullet Journal method. His design work has included projects with companies such as Adidas, American Express, Cisco, IBM, Macy's and HP. He has also given a TEDx talk at Yale University about leading an intentional life.
