Tony Schwartz, born in 1952, is an American journalist and business book author. He ghostwrote Trump: The Art of the Deal, which came out in 1987 under Donald Trump's name. Schwartz founded The Energy Project, a productivity consulting firm that works with individuals and organizations on performing well. He co-wrote The Power of Full Engagement with Jim Loehr. That book was a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller and has been translated into 28 languages. He is also the author of What Really Matters, and he co-authored a 2007 Harvard Business Review article on managing energy rather than time.
