Bobby Lee founded Ballet, a company that makes physical cryptocurrency wallets, and serves as its CEO. Its REAL Series hardware wallet launched in 2019. He is the author of The Promise of Bitcoin. He co-founded BTCC, known as BTCChina, which began in 2011 as the first bitcoin exchange in China. A Hong Kong investment firm acquired the company in 2018. Before BTCC, he worked at Walmart as a vice president overseeing technology for its China e-commerce arm, and he began his career as a software engineer at Yahoo!. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from Stanford University and has served on the board of the Bitcoin Foundation.
