For publishers and authors
BookBits helps readers in Southeast Asia discover nonfiction books through short summaries in text and audio. Partner with us to make your summaries official and reach new readers.
What BookBits is
- Independent summaries in our own words
Each summary explains a book's key ideas in about 15 minutes, in text and audio. We write them in our own words through an AI-augmented process. We never reproduce a book's text.
- A way to discover books, not to replace them
A summary gives readers the main ideas. The stories, evidence and depth stay in your book, and every summary names the book and its author.
- Built for Southeast Asia
Our readers are professionals, students and lifelong learners. Summaries are in English and Thai, with more Southeast Asian languages coming.

Questions from publishers and authors
How are the summaries made?
We write each summary in our own words through an AI-augmented process, and narrate it with AI voices. A summary covers a book’s key ideas; it does not reproduce the book’s text.
Does partnering cost anything?
No. There are no fees for authors or publishers. As a partner, you receive a share of the revenue your summary brings in.
Can I license a whole catalog?
Yes. We work with single titles and with full catalogs. Tell us what you have in mind in the form below.
Will a summary reduce sales of my book?
A summary covers the key ideas only. It names your book and you as its author, so readers who want the full story know where it comes from.
Can I suggest a book of mine for BookBits?
Yes. Choose “Partner with us” in the form and name the book.
Can I ask you to remove a title?
Yes. Choose “Something else” in the form and name the book. We remove it within 7 days and confirm in writing.
