Dave Hollis (1975 to 2023) was an author, speaker, and life and business coach. He hosted the Rise Together podcast. Earlier in his career he was President of Sales for The Walt Disney Company's film studio, and he also worked as a talent manager in film, TV and music. Get Out of Your Own Way was his first book, and it made the New York Times best-seller list. He also ran The Hollis Company, a media business aimed at encouraging a growth mindset in people. Away from work, he was a father of four and a foster parent. His giving went through the Dave Hollis Giving Fund, with grants focused on children in foster care, teen homelessness and food insecurity.
