About Debra Landwehr Engle
She grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, and has made her home in rural Winterset, Iowa. She spent many years as a freelance writer, with early articles appearing in magazines such as Country Home and Better Homes and Gardens. Her first book, Grace from the Garden, came out in 2003. She has also written The Only Little Prayer You Need, which has a foreword by the Dalai Lama, and Let Your Spirit Guides Speak, which won a silver Nautilus Award. Her first novel is called Twenty. Debra leads classes on A Course in Miracles, and she keeps a blog titled Everyday Miracles. She is part of the faculty at the Omega Institute, runs workshops worldwide, and co-founded the online Tending Your Inner Garden workshops.
