About Gary L. Thomas
Gary L. Thomas is an international speaker whose work draws on Scripture, church history and the Christian classics. He has written 20 books, including Sacred Marriage and Cherish, and his books have sold more than two million copies in total. He is on the teaching team at Second Baptist Church in Houston, where he is Writer in Residence. He also teaches as adjunct faculty at Western Seminary and Houston Theological Seminary. Thomas studied English Literature at Western Washington University and earned a master's degree in systematic theology from Regent College in Vancouver. He likes to run, and he has finished 14 marathons, three of them in Boston.
