Gary Shapiro is an American author and lobbyist who has served as CEO of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), a US trade association for consumer technology companies. CTA owns and produces CES. Shapiro has written Pivot or Die, Ninja Future, Ninja Innovation and The Comeback. Ninja Innovation and The Comeback were New York Times best-sellers. He has also written more than 1,000 opinion pieces and has spoken at events including SXSW and Milken.
