Jenn Granneman created IntrovertDear.com in 2013 as an online community and publication for introverts. She has advocated for introverts since then. She has said she felt different and out of place for much of her life because of her quiet ways, and she writes so that other introverts do not feel the same. She has written two books: The Secret Lives of Introverts and Sensitive. Her work has been featured in outlets including the New York Times, the Washington Post, Oprah Daily and the Guardian. Her stated mission is to help introverts and sensitive people embrace their strengths. Granneman lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with her son.
