About Jessica Valenti
Valenti co-founded Feministing and wrote for it from 2004 to 2011. She was a columnist for The Guardian from 2014 to 2018, and also for The Nation. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times and The Atlantic. Her books include Full Frontal Feminism, The Purity Myth and Sex Object: A Memoir, which was a New York Times bestseller. She also co-edited the anthology Yes Means Yes. After Roe v. Wade was overturned, she started Abortion, Every Day, a Substack newsletter following abortion rights in the US. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.
