About Joyce Meyer
Joyce Meyer was born in 1943 and is president of Joyce Meyer Ministries, a Christian nonprofit headquartered near Fenton, Missouri. She is a New York Times bestselling author who has written more than 100 books, including The Answer to Anxiety. Her Enjoying Everyday Life program has been broadcast on television, radio and online around the world. She has also held conferences in the United States and internationally. Meyer is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and has said she found healing by applying the Bible to her life. Hand of Hope, the missions arm of her ministry, runs feeding programs, medical care and disaster relief. In 2023 she established Hope Mountain Ranch, a place of refuge covering 800 acres at Mount Pleasant, Utah.
