About Kent Jonasen
In 2008 Kent Jonasen was one of the founders of Leadership Pipeline Institute, where he holds the CEO role. Earlier in his career he worked for five years in finance, then for twelve years in human resources at A.P. Moller – Maersk. Between 2003 and 2008 he served there as deputy head of group human resources. His remit covered talent management, leadership and executive development, and executive pay. At Maersk he led a companywide leadership development program built on the ideas in The Leadership Pipeline, reaching more than 10,000 leaders in over 100 countries. Since founding the institute, he has led Leadership Pipeline and Specialist Pipeline projects at more than 25 large international organizations. He also wrote The Specialist Pipeline, which argues that companies need a clear structure to support their specialists.
