About Kim Powell
Kim R. Powell has spent nearly twenty years advising chief executives and rising leaders. She started her career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she worked with senior leaders of Fortune 500 companies on corporate strategy and transformational change. She later held global oversight of the firm's Change Management practice. After roughly fifteen years at BCG, she joined ghSMART. There she works with senior executives, private equity firms and non-profit leaders on management assessment, leadership coaching and organizational change. She co-leads ghSMART's research on first-time CEOs and is an author of The CEO Next Door. Powell earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and her MBA at the Kellogg School of Management.
