About Laura Ashley-Timms
Laura Ashley-Timms is an executive coach who co-created the STAR® model and the STAR® Manager program. She co-founded Notion, a performance improvement consultancy established in 2000, and serves as its chief operating officer (COO). Notion has won awards for innovation, learning design and academic partnerships, including a Learning & Development Supplier of the Year award in 2021. She studied at Oriel College, Oxford, where she earned an MA and a full blue. She has more than 30 years of international business experience across the USA, Europe and Asia, including a decade in retail. She was born in London. Laura co-wrote The Answer Is a Question, which is aimed at managers and leaders. She also writes a blog and has created academic management qualifications for people managers.
