About Leil Lowndes
Leil Lowndes has written ten books on communication, and her bestsellers include How to Talk to Anyone and How to Be a People Magnet. She was very shy as a child, and the shyness lasted through college. After six years as a teacher, she moved into work that kept her meeting many kinds of people. She worked as an international flight attendant, acted in a Broadway show, and became a cruise director. Between trips she also filled in as a host on a New York radio talk show, interviewing celebrities and political figures. Lowndes now leads seminars for major corporations and speaks at conventions.
