About Michael Wade
Michael Wade is a Professor of Strategy and Digital at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. He leads the TONOMUS Global Center for Digital and AI Transformation. His writing, teaching and speaking focus on how digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) change people, organizations and society. He has produced more than 100 articles and presentations for academic journals and conferences, along with more than 30 case studies drawn from his work with organizations. His 11 books include ALIEN Thinking. Swiss media outlets, acting together, three times ranked him among the country's ten leading digital thought leaders, and in 2021 they inducted him into their Digital Shaper Hall of Fame. He is also the host of two podcasts, Management under the Microscope and Mike and Amit Talk Tech. Wade earned his Honors BA, MBA and PhD at the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, in Canada. He has lived and worked in seven countries and now lives in Switzerland with his family.
