About Teresa Pitman
For over 25 years, Teresa Pitman has focused her writing on birth, breastfeeding and parenting. She was co-author of the "Steps and Stages" columns for Today's Parent, a national parenting magazine in Canada, and her work has appeared in magazines such as Mothering, Family Fun and Chatelaine. She has 14 published books. She is a long-time La Leche League Leader. She co-wrote the eighth edition of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding, which came out in 2010. Conferences in Canada, the US and New Zealand have invited her as a speaker. She is a mother of four and a grandmother of six, and lives in Guelph, Ontario.
