About Allan J. Hamilton
Allan J. Hamilton is a neurosurgeon based in Tucson, Arizona, and a professor at the University of Arizona. He graduated from Harvard Medical School and trained as a neurosurgery resident at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He has also worked as a medical consultant to the TV series Grey's Anatomy. Hamilton has written books on surgery and on working with horses. For the 15th anniversary edition of Younger Next Year, he added two new chapters on how physical exercise relates to brain health. He has raised Lipizzan horses, German Shepherds and Angus cattle on a ranch near Tucson.
