Amy Wallace is an American journalist and author. Her magazine work has appeared in publications including GQ, Wired, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair and the New York Times Magazine, and she has twice been a National Magazine Award nominee. She spent 11 years at the Los Angeles Times, where she reported on state politics, higher education and the entertainment industry, and she later became its deputy business editor. She is the co-author, with Ed Catmull, of Creativity, Inc., a 2014 bestselling book. She lives in Pasadena, California.
