About Andrew Hallam
Andrew Hallam is from Canada and used to teach middle school in Comox, British Columbia. He says he met a self-made millionaire mechanic at 19 and wanted to see if he could do the same on a teacher's pay. By the age of 38 he had built an investment portfolio worth a million dollars, using index funds. His book Millionaire Teacher sets out nine rules of wealth for everyday investors. He has also written books aimed at expatriate investors. Hallam says he writes and speaks to show people how to invest, so that financial independence gives them more time for the people and passions they love.
