About Andrew Yang
Andrew Yang worked as a lawyer and as an executive at early-stage technology companies before founding the nonprofit Venture for America. The organization helps talented graduates gain experience in start-ups, and the White House named him a Champion of Change for that work. He ran in the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries, with a proposed $1,000 monthly payment for every adult at the center of his platform. Afterward he created the nonprofit Humanity Forward, ran for mayor of New York City in 2021, and then founded the Forward Party. Smart People Should Build Things and The War on Normal People are his books in the BookBits catalog.
