Bill Perkins was born in 1969. He works as a hedge fund manager, entrepreneur, film producer and poker player. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Iowa and trained on Wall Street. He later moved to Houston, Texas, where he worked as an energy trader. He founded Skylar Capital, a hedge fund that focuses on energy.
