About Blake Masters
Blake Masters took detailed notes on Peter Thiel's startup class while studying at Stanford Law School in 2012, and they spread widely online. Those notes became the basis of Zero to One, which the two men wrote together in 2014. Earlier on, he co-founded Judicata, a company that builds technology for legal research, and he also worked at Box and Founders Fund. He has also served as chief operating officer (COO) of Thiel Capital and as president of the Thiel Foundation. Masters later went into politics. He won the Republican nomination for the 2022 US Senate race in Arizona but lost the general election, and in 2024 he ran for a US House seat, finishing second in the Republican primary.
