About Bob Chapman
Bob Chapman leads Barry-Wehmiller, a multi-billion-dollar capital equipment firm. He took over a struggling business and transformed it by combining strategy with culture. The company has grown through 140+ acquisitions and now has 12,000 teammates in 28 countries. His move from traditional management to what he calls "Truly Human Leadership" led to Everybody Matters. The book has been translated into seven languages, and a revised and expanded edition came out in 2025. Chapman's approach to leadership has also been the subject of a TEDx Talk and a Harvard case study that business schools now teach. He is working to bring these ideas into education, including through initiatives with Fordham University.
