About Bruce Feiler

Bruce Feiler was born in Savannah, Georgia, and lives in Brooklyn. He has written 15 books, including The Council of Dads, which grew out of his asking a group of men to support his young daughters after a rare cancer diagnosis. That book inspired the NBC drama Council of Dads. In Life Is in the Transitions, he travels across America gathering hundreds of life stories to look at how people can handle change with purpose and skill. Earlier books explore spirituality, including Walking the Bible, about his 10,000-mile trek through the desert following the Five Books of Moses. He presented a PBS series of the same name, as well as Sacred Journeys with Bruce Feiler.
