About Chad Robichaux

Chad Robichaux is a former Force Recon Marine and Department of Defense (DoD) contractor who served on eight deployments to Afghanistan with a Joint Special Operations Command task force. After struggling with post-traumatic stress and coming close to becoming a veteran suicide statistic, he founded Mighty Oaks, a nonprofit that offers faith-based resiliency and recovery programs to military and first responder communities. In 2021, he led a civilian evacuation during the Afghanistan withdrawal that rescued over 17,000 people, including his longtime interpreter and friend, Aziz. His book Saving Aziz was a Wall Street Journal best seller, and a motion picture based on it is in production. He also wrote A Mission Without Borders, a USA Today best seller about aid and rescue missions in Ukraine. Robichaux is a Fox News Contributor, hosts The Resilient Show, and sits on the board of the Center for Security Policy. He is a former Federal Air Marshal Service special agent, a Professional World Mixed Martial Arts Champion and a 4th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. He lives in Texas with his wife Kathy.
