About Christopher McDougall
McDougall was born in 1962 and graduated from Harvard University in 1985. Afterwards he worked for three years as an Associated Press foreign correspondent, covering wars in Rwanda and Angola. He has written for Esquire, Outside, Men's Journal, New York and The New York Times Magazine, and he was a contributing editor at Men's Health. He also created the web series Art of the Hero for Outside and has spoken at TED.
