About Dennis Carey
Dennis Carey has served as Vice Chairman of Korn/Ferry International. He has recruited chief executives for companies such as TYCO International, 3M and American Standard. He has also built boards from scratch, among them Covidien Health Care, TYCO Electronics, Delphi and Visteon, as well as boards for the initial public offerings of Goldman Sachs and Ameritrade. Carey has written three books, including Talent Wins, and dozens of articles. He has contributed to the Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and McKinsey Quarterly, writing about CEO succession, how companies are governed, and mergers and acquisitions. He founded G100, the Lead Director Academy and the CEO Academy, and co-founded the Directors Institute at The Wharton School, the CHRO Board Academy and the CFO Board Academy. He has also sat on company boards, and he formerly served as a director of Closure Medical, which was sold to Johnson & Johnson.
