About Donald J. Robertson
Donald J. Robertson is a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist, writer and trainer. His work explores how ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, Stoicism in particular, connects with modern psychotherapy and self-improvement. He helped found the Modern Stoicism organization, and he set up the Plato's Academy Centre in Athens. Among his books are Stoicism and the Art of Happiness and The Philosophy of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. He also wrote the best-selling How to Think Like a Roman Emperor. How to Think Like Socrates draws on the life of Socrates to show how Socratic wisdom can be applied today.
