About Erric Solomon

Erric Solomon worked as a Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur and user experience designer before becoming an author and meditation teacher. He has long been interested in how the mind works. In his teens he showed children and schoolteachers how to program computers. He later joined the Logo Group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, an experience that led him toward Buddhist theories of mind and consciousness. He has practiced Buddhism for more than twenty years, studied with teachers including Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche, and completed a traditional three-year retreat. He has been invited to lead seminars and retreats at the World Bank and at Silicon Valley tech firms, and in Buddhist centers, temples and prisons in the US and Europe. His book in our catalog is Radically Happy.
