About Gabriel Wyner
Gabriel Wyner was born in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of Southern California in 2007 with degrees in mechanical engineering and vocal arts performance. He then studied opera, Lieder and voice at the Konservatorium Wien in Vienna, finishing with honors in 2011. After years of school language classes that got him nowhere, he reached fluency in German in 14 weeks at the Middlebury Language Schools. That experience led him to develop a system of short daily sessions for building fluency. He went on to learn French in five months and Russian in ten. Fluent Forever was published in 2014 and became a Wall Street Journal and USA Today national bestseller. In 2017 he launched a crowdfunding campaign for the Fluent Forever App, which raised more than $1.7 million.
