Glenn Elliott trained as a software engineer and left an MBA before finishing it. After several failed businesses, he founded Reward Gateway in 2006, taking a new approach to employee perks and benefits. He served as CEO for 17 years and stepped down in 2017 to focus on sharing what he had learned about people and employee engagement. Building the company taught him about leadership and company culture. Build It, written with Debra Corey, gathers the stories of human resources (HR) and leadership rebels.
