About Guy Deutscher
Guy Deutscher, born in 1969, is an Israeli linguist. He has written Through the Language Glass and The Unfolding of Language. He holds an honorary research fellowship in the School of Languages, Linguistics and Cultures at the University of Manchester. Earlier he was a Fellow of St John's College, Cambridge, and was linked to the Department of Ancient Near Eastern Languages at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
