Ian Kerner is an American psychotherapist and sex counselor who works in sex therapy and couples therapy. He holds a PhD and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in New York State. He also holds a certification from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. He works with both individuals and couples, in private practice and through the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. He has written many books, including She Comes First, a New York Times best seller that has been translated into more than a dozen languages. His catalog titles also include He Comes Next and Passionista. Ian founded GoodInBed.com, a website and publishing company that gathers sex experts and carries out original research. He has appeared on CNN, the TODAY Show and the Dr. Oz Show, and has lectured at New York University, Yale and Princeton. He grew up in New York City and still lives there with his wife and two sons.
