About Josh Bersin
Josh Bersin trained as an engineer, with degrees from Cornell University, Stanford University and the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Early in his career he worked in product development, product management, marketing and technology sales at companies including IBM, Sybase and DigitalThink. He founded Bersin & Associates in 2001 to provide research and advice on corporate learning, and the firm later grew to cover all areas of HR. After selling it to Deloitte in 2012, he became a partner in Bersin by Deloitte and was principal author of its annual Human Capital Trends report until he retired in 2018. In 2019 he launched the Josh Bersin Academy for HR and talent professionals, and in 2020 he formed The Josh Bersin Company to support HR teams around the world. His books include Irresistible, The Blended Learning Handbook and The Training Measurement Book.
