Julie Bogart is a writer and writing coach who shares advice on parenting and home education. She home educated her five children, who are now adults, and has also taught college freshmen at Xavier University. She created Brave Writer, an award-winning online writing program, and Poetry Teatime, a weekly poetry habit. She also hosts a podcast and runs an online coaching community for home educators. Her books include The Brave Learner and Raising Critical Thinkers, which was published in 2022. In 2017 she received Xavier University's Madges Award for her work with Brave Writer.
