About Ken Fisher

Ken Fisher was born in San Francisco in 1950. He founded the fee-only financial adviser Fisher Investments in 1979 and serves as its executive chairman. His Forbes "Portfolio Strategy" column began in 1984, and no columnist at the magazine has written one for longer without a break. He now writes monthly columns in the local languages of many countries, for newspapers around the world. Fisher has also written research papers on behavioral finance. Four of his eleven books have been New York Times bestsellers, and How to Smell a Rat is the one in our catalog.
