Jon Wertheim was born in Bloomington, Indiana, in 1970. He joined the full-time writing staff at Sports Illustrated in 1996 and has also been a correspondent for 60 Minutes on CBS. He works as a tennis commentator on air, mostly for Tennis Channel, and has hosted and been a guest on several podcasts. His books include Scorecasting, written with Toby Moskowitz, which became a New York Times bestseller, and Blood in the Cage, about the rise of mixed martial arts.
