About Louise Hay
Louise Hay (1926 to 2017) was an American author and professional speaker who wrote self-help books in the New Thought tradition. She became a Religious Science practitioner in the early 1970s and also studied with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Her book You Can Heal Your Life, published in 1984, is an international bestseller. She appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about her work. Hay founded the publishing company Hay House. In 1985 she also set up a charitable organization, the Hay Foundation.
