About Michael J. Mauboussin
Michael J. Mauboussin has led Consilient Research at Counterpoint Global, which is based in New York. He has also taught finance at Columbia Business School as an adjunct professor since 1993, and the school gave him a teaching excellence award in 2009. Earlier in his career he joined Credit Suisse in 1992 as an analyst covering packaged food, and he later became its Chief US Investment Strategist. He moved to Legg Mason Capital Management in 2004. He is the author of Think Twice, published in 2009, and is affiliated with the Santa Fe Institute, a research center focused on complex systems.
