About Michael Newman
Michael Newman is an Emeritus Professor of Politics and a Jean Monnet Professor of European Studies. He has worked as a professor of politics at London Metropolitan University. His research interests have been wide-ranging, taking in the Left, political biography and the European Union. More recently he has turned to peace and conflict. Besides Socialism, he has written Ralph Miliband and the Politics of the New Left. He is also the author of Democracy, Sovereignty and the European Union.
