About Rob Bell
In 1999 Bell started Mars Hill Bible Church in Grandville, Michigan, and led it until 2012. He attended Wheaton College, and he later completed a Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary. In 2011 he appeared on a Time list of the 100 most influential people. Two of his New York Times bestsellers are Love Wins and What Is the Bible? He also wrote and narrated NOOMA, a series of short spiritual films. After leaving the pastorate he turned to writing and speaking, and he hosts the podcast The Robcast. The Heretic, a documentary about him, came out in 2018.
