About Sally M. Winston
Winston was born in Montreal and studied at two universities: Cornell and the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Before that institute opened in 1992, she worked for 18 years at SheppardPratt Hospital in Baltimore. The institute treats phobias, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), worry and related conditions. Winston was the first person to receive the Jerilyn Ross Award, and she also maintains a psychotherapy practice. She leads workshops nationally and internationally.
