About Sam Walker
Sam Walker spent twenty years at The Wall Street Journal, in roles that included chief sports columnist, global sports editor and leadership columnist. He also founded the newspaper's daily sports coverage. He works as a consultant on leadership and team building, and is also a columnist and keynote speaker. His clients have included professional, Olympic and college sports teams, elite military units and many kinds of businesses. His book The Captain Class (2018) profiles the leaders of some of the greatest team dynasties in sports history.
