About Shari Harley
Shari Harley began her career selling and facilitating communication programs for Dale Carnegie Training. She later worked as a business communication trainer at American Century Investments and ran leadership development and succession planning at OppenheimerFunds. She also taught leadership at the University of Denver. In 2007 she left a corporate director job and founded Candid Culture, a training and keynote speaking firm focused on honest communication at work, including giving positive and constructive feedback. She has spoken and trained in the United States and in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Dubai and Australia, and she holds the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation. Harley earned a master's degree in applied communication at the University of Denver, along with a psychology degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She is the author of How to Say Anything to Anyone. She lives in Denver, Colorado.
