About Sharon L. Lechter
Sharon L. Lechter is an accountant, author and speaker on financial literacy who worked as a licensed CPA for 35 years. She co-wrote Rich Dad Poor Dad with Robert T. Kiyosaki in 1997, released 14 more books in the Rich Dad series, and led the Rich Dad Company, which she co-founded, as its chief executive for more than a decade. In 2008 the Napoleon Hill Foundation asked her to help renew interest in Hill's ideas. That work led to Outwitting the Devil, Think and Grow Rich for Women and Think and Grow Rich: Three Feet from Gold. Her later books include Exit Rich, written for business owners, and HowMoneyWorks for Women. She founded Pay Your Family First, a financial education company whose board game ThriveTime for Teens has won several awards. She sat on the first President's Advisory Council on Financial Literacy, which advised Presidents Bush and Obama, and has served as a spokesperson for the National CPA Financial Literacy Commission.
