Steve McIntosh is an American author, lawyer and entrepreneur. He founded Now & Zen, Inc., a boutique alarm clock company, and was its chief executive. His philosophical work draws on Alfred North Whitehead and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. It centers on intrinsic value and the development of human culture. He has written Integral Consciousness and the Future of Evolution (2007), Evolution's Purpose (2012), The Presence of the Infinite (2015) and Developmental Politics (2020). The Institute for Developmental Philosophy, a nonprofit, has had him as its cofounder and president since 2013.
