About Terrence E. Deal
Terrence E. Deal retired from the University of Southern California (USC), where he held the Irving R. Melbo professorship in education at the Rossier School. Before joining USC, he taught at Stanford, Harvard and Vanderbilt. At Vanderbilt he won several teaching honors, including the Sarratt Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. Deal has co-written 40 books. Reframing Organizations is one he wrote with Lee Bolman. He has also advised organizations around the world, in business, health care, the military, education and religion.
