Thomas H. Geoghegan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1949 and is based in Chicago. He is a labor lawyer who has acted for a number of unions and union groups. He has written six books, and his work covers labor, law and politics. His book Which Side Are You On? reached the final round of judging for the National Book Critics Circle Award.
